- Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
- Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR.
- Must be drug-free and be able to pass new-hire and random drug screenings.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Have tools and knowledge used in the diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
- Motivated to invest time into training to advance job position.
- Demonstrate commitment to developing customer service and communication skills
- Able to follow verbal and written directions as given.
- 3+ years’ experience in HVAC service and repair. Installation experience is a preferred bonus.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Demonstrate commitment to learning Crossway’s processes and procedures to deliver best in field experiences for customers.
- Be willing to work extended hours and be on a rotating on-call schedule
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly Duties:
- Purchase required tools as listed for HVAC Service and Installation
- Investigates problems and performs repairs on various mechanical and electrical equipment in heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
- Arrive at job-site at scheduled time and location as dispatched
- Report any problems with company tools or vehicles promptly.
- Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
- Maintain truck supplies, equipmentand tools.
- Participate and attend employee meetings and training.
- Develop customer service, communication and teamwork skills .
- Skill Advancement and growth mindset
- Other duties as assigned
